The day started with me packing my school clothes in Shane's luggage (my brother is coming to Capernwray Bible College and bringing me some of my clothes!). Bodi, my dog, is all too aware of what's going on and so he's being extra cute and extra rotten! He was trying to delay the packing process by laying on part of my luggage - this was very cute though! Later, he began stealing items out of my room like business cards with addresses on them (Teri of the SJC Library was his first steel). But I pushed through and as of 5:30 this evening my bags are by the door. One carry-on size, a backpack and purse - for three weeks of traveling (then Shane will rescue me with all the rest of my clothes when he comes). Go Shane!
I have to get back to finishing up all the little things now - takes so much time!

- The reason for the blog is threefold: one, it gives people back home an idea of what I'm doing; two, it's a way for me to share about my time in a semi-productive and possibly creative way; and three, it's fun! My new blog is focusing on my move to and time in England over the next year. As I've mentioned before, God has given me an overall lesson/focus for the past few years (and so why stop now). In 2008 it was healing; in 2009 it was learning; in 2010 it is/was adventure; and now (2010-11) it's serving as I will be volunteering at Capernwray Bible School starting mid-September. I'm full of emotions (overjoyed, overwhelmed) but each day God is with me, guiding my steps as I go. I'm so excited and grateful for this opportunity!
